Head House Manager
- On-site
- Saint-Tropez , Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur, France
- £90,000 - £90,000 per year
Job description
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly discreet, and organised Head House Manager to oversee all private household operations for a high-profile European family. The role involves frequent EU travel, as the family relocates approximately every three months between three established residences across Europe.
This is a leadership position suited to a polished professional with a proven track record in managing large, multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring 5-star service standards across multiple properties.
Job Role
In this hands-on role, you’ll be the go-to person for all things related to the smooth running of the family's multiple homes across Europe. You’ll lead a core team that includes house managers, chefs, housekeepers, and a personal trainer—making sure everyone is working in sync to deliver top-tier service. You'll help create a calm, welcoming environment wherever the family is staying.
Each location change (every three months) involves planning ahead to ensure the house is fully prepared and ready before the family arrives. That means overseeing travel logistics, coordinating the packing and moving of personal belongings, and making sure everything runs like clockwork—from housekeeping to food service and pet care.
You’ll be closely involved with the Head Chef in planning menus and maintaining high food and beverage standards, always keeping in mind any dietary needs or preferences. Supporting the family during social events and gatherings—whether casual or formal—will also be part of the role.
A big part of the job is also about communication and coordination. You’ll liaise with local vendors, manage household budgets, handle contracts, and make sure everything is compliant with local laws in each country. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, can think on their feet, and brings a sense of calm and control to fast-paced environments.
