We are seeking a discreet, reliable, and experienced Junior Housekeeper to join a highly regarded private household. Working closely with the Senior Housekeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining exceptional standards across a meticulously cared-for estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure immaculate presentation of all interior spaces

  • Handle laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management, including delicate and high-end fabrics

  • Maintain household organisation, manage supplies, and run occasional errands

  • Prepare simple, nutritious family meals as required

  • Assist with floral arrangements and seasonal decor

  • Liaise with household staff, estate team, and external contractors

  • Provide basic care for the family’s friendly spaniel

  • Support events, guests, and formal entertaining when needed

Schedule & Benefits

  • Part-time: 25 hours per week (Typical schedule: Thursday–Saturday or Sunday–Tuesday, 8:30am–6:30pm)

  • £45,000 pro rata DOE

  • Live-in or Live-out arrangement available

Job requirements

Ideal Candidate

  • Prior experience in a similar role within a high-net-worth (HNW) private household

  • Outstanding attention to detail and a strong sense of organisation

  • Discreet, trustworthy, and confident working independently

  • Calm, polished, and service-oriented approach

  • Comfortable with high-end cleaning products and techniques

  • Flexible and proactive, with the ability to multitask effectively

  • Capable of cooking simple family meals and assisting with entertaining

  • Physically fit and comfortable managing the demands of a large home

  • Valid UK driving licence essential (for live-out candidates)
