£6,000 net per month DOE | Month on/off 

A warm and welcoming European family is seeking an experienced Rota Nanny to join their fully staffed private villa in the Bahamas, caring for two delightful children aged 5 and 7.

Working alongside a second rota nanny, you’ll enjoy an excellent work-life balance working month on/off ensuring continuity of care whilst allowing substantial personal time between rotations.

This is a child-focused role. With a private driver and home tutor already employed, your attention will be dedicated entirely to the children’s wellbeing, routines, development and happiness.

 

The Role

You’ll become a trusted part of the family’s daily life, creating engaging routines, organising activities and outings, supporting personal care, travelling with the family when required, and ensuring the children feel secure and nurtured at all times.

Working closely with the household team, you’ll provide seamless handovers between rotations and maintain excellent communication with the parents.

  • Take full responsibility for the children’s daily care during your rotation

  • Establish and maintain structured daily routines

  • Plan engaging indoor and outdoor activities appropriate to the children’s ages

  • Organise playdates, social engagements and recreational outings

  • Support the children’s emotional wellbeing and personal development

  • Assist with bathing, dressing and daily personal care

  • Manage the children’s wardrobes, including seasonal organisation

  • Prepare and pack children’s belongings for family travel

  • Accompany the family on holidays and international travel when required

  • Liaise with the family’s private tutor regarding daily schedules

  • Monitor children’s health and wellbeing, reporting concerns promptly

  • Maintain excellent communication with the parents

Job requirements

  • Previous experience as a private nanny within UHNW or private households

  • Experience caring for children of a similar age

  • Excellent understanding of child development

  • Naturally warm, nurturing and emotionally intelligent

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

  • Flexible and adaptable approach

  • Professional, discreet and trustworthy

  • Paediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Languages would be an advantage

  • Valid passport

  • Willingness to travel internationally

  • Outstanding references

  • Clear background checks
